This is a Winter tomato. Indeed, it is harvested between January and May. The taste is typically Mediterranean and Summery due to its odour of the sun, to its extremely rich sweet, enveloping, juicy, persistent, tasty flavour, due to its firm, crisp and compact consistency. It is a tomato with excellent organoleptic characteristics, rich in vitamin C and A, and with a good content of group B vitamins. It contains Lycopene, a natural anti-oxidant which neutralizes free radicals. The ribbed tomato is average-large sized, is distinguished by its flattened shape and for the large quantity of ribbing. The very deep and brilliant green colour surrounding the apical part, makes it aesthetically attractive, both while changing colour and when fully ripe. It is highly preservable and resistant to handling during transport.
