The Datterino tomato has the typical shape of the date fruit.
It presents in the typical shape of the date, elongated and closed at a point in the extremities, sometimes slightly regular. It is gathered in bunches, but more often according to size as an individual fruit, being offered to the end consumer with or without a green stalk.
The berry has an excellent texture, a fleshy pulp, a thin skin, few seeds and a bright red colour.
This is the tomato which, most of all, is appreciated for its sweetness, used in sauces from which they are extracted. At the same time, they are good accompaniments to any type of dish, hot or cold.
