The mango is of tropical origins. The Sicilian production, even if limited in time due to the Mediterranean climate of our country, is of excellent quality, with great success even in the Northern European markets. It has found suitable climatic conditions in the Northern and Eastern areas of Sicily. The skin can be completely green, yellow, deep red, or a combination of these colours. The flesh is orange yellow, compact, juicy and perfumed with few or no filaments. The pit is flattened and somewhat hard and adheres to the flesh.
