Table grapes is one of the most important of Sicilian agricultural products. The varietal range embraces various cultivars which allow for an extended marketing calendar thanks to the highly specialized cultivation techniques used in the production districts (protected farming). We distinguish the varieties by the colour of the skin (white, rose, black) and by the ripening periods. The most widespread are, in order or ripening: Matilde. Vittoria and Italia for those with a white skin, and Black Magic and Red Globe for those with black.
